2012: 4th edition
The fourth edition of the Beirut Spring Festival took place from 3 to 9 June 2012. Produced by the Samir Kassir Foundation, the Festival presented a seven-day program featuring a lecture, a multimedia dance performance, a theatre play, a cinema-theatre, two concerts, and a tribute to Lebanese singer Elie Choueiri. This fourth edition remained free of charge, and gathered talent from Lebanon, France, Syria, Egypt, the United Kingdom and Turkey. It took place in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations (theatre halls, university halls and public spaces) thanks to the support of 20 partners and the extensive coverage of the press.

A French play based on Stefan Zweig's classic, depicting the portrait of a woman obsessively in love with a renowned novelist, on Friday 8 June 2012 at 9:00 pm, Le Monnot Theatre, Achrafieh.
A Turkish fusion concert of Sufi and electronic music with three musicians and a whirling derwish, on Thursday 7 June 2012 at 9:00 pm, Samir Kassir Garden, Beirut Downtown.
A cinema-theatre performance written by Pete Brooks and performed on Wednesday 6 June 2012 at 9:00 pm, Tournesol Theatre, Tayyouneh.
Egyptian Writer & Screenwriter Waheed Hamed is the guest of honor of the 2012 Beirut Spring Festival, delivering the annual conference on Tuesday 5 June at 7:00 pm, at the Bathish Auditorium, American University of Beirut, Hamra.
