2026: 18th edition

The 18th edition of the Beirut Spring Festival takes place 24 August – 26 September 2026 after rescheduling due to the 2026 Iran war. Over XX evenings, the Festival presents 3 performances in the genres of film, installation, and concert, in 4 venues in Beirut and Akkar, including Metropolis Cinema, Akkar, Dora, and the Académie libanaise des beaux-arts. From Lebanon to XXX, Syria, XX, and XX, the Beirut Spring Festival. To better connect with the festival goers, we introduced electronic ticketing through EventBrite. This allowed us to better engage with you, as our Festival remains free of charge thanks to the support of XX partners.


The week-long concert at ALBA has been awarded the “Tech for Memory” Festival grant through a call for applications for a performance. Launched in 2025 and funded by the European Union, “Tech for Memory” aims, among its key objectives, to empower local cultural actors to contribute to preserving and promoting Lebanon’s cultural heritage and addressing the country’s fragmented memory through major artistic performances that premiere as part of the Festival.

BSF2026 Request for Proposals

Memory on Stage 2026, our BSF2026 Request for Proposals for a major artistic performance that will be part of our upcoming edition, is out!


Local artists or cultural organizations in Lebanon may propose theatre, music, dance, visual installations or multimedia work, with a budget up to EUR 50,000.


Submissions are due by 30 November 2025.


This project is funded by the European Union-backed “Tech for Memory” project, aimed at preserving Lebanon’s cultural heritage and addressing fragmented memory.
